Minecraft Skins

This week we have been creating Minecraft Skins on  Google sheets . First we got an image from the internet . Then we copied it onto our Google Sheet .Next I copied from the image and created my own picture.  Mrs C and Mrs Taylor helped me.  We made a dog.  I hope you like it.

My Success Mantra

In Punui-o-toka we have been learning about what Success means to me . I had to fill in a flow chat with ideas about what success feels like and looks like. I also had to show what I get when I am successful and what I would do to be successful.

  

Te Manu Tukutuku Poem

In Punui-o-toka we had to write a poem about our new school.
We had to write a sentence about what we could see, hear, touch and feel . I used some alliteration in my poem .

My Calendar Art

At school I made some Art for my calendar . first I drew some lines on my paper . Next I dyed my back ground pink . Then I cut out heart shapes from patterned paper and glued them into the square spaces . Lastly I let it all dry . The calendars are to  fundraise money for my school . I enjoyed making my calendar Art . 

Making a Bar Graph

In maths I am learning to make a bar graph . My class ate some ice blocks . This graph shows what colours the ice blocks were and how many children ate them . I had to write two statements about the graph . 

Compatible Numbers

In maths I am learning to use compatible numbers to solve number problems . 

My Logo Design

At school I am making  my own logo design .  I chose the colour blue because it is the colour of my eyes .The E is for name Ethan  and the orange is the colour of my hair. The p is for my favourite TV shows Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol . The pink is for my  favourite colour and Peppa Pig  . The cat shape is because I love cats  . My Teacher Aid Mrs C helped me.

Making A Cup Of Tea

Today I had to make a teacher a cup of tea .
We are learning to use our People Powers and make someones day . 
I made Mrs C a cup of tea.

Weather Art

This term we have been learning about the weather. In art I made a storm painting. First I made my mountain silhouette. I drew a mountain with white crayon and cut it out. Next I painted the background. I used dye. I used dark blue, black and light blue dye. When the dye was dry I stuck my mountain at the bottom of the paper. The next day I painted the storm cloud. I used black paint. Next I painted the lightening with white paint.

My Penguin Art

WALT Use paint to create the effect of the feathers.
For a while now have been paining a penguin. First we drew the penguin  next we painted the black then when it was dry we painted the orange and the yellow then once it was done we finished off with white and the green eye.

Making Snot

I have been learning to use adjectives to make my writing more interesting.

Mrs Jack made the snot and we all had a turn at 'playing' with it. We all talked about the different ways it looked, smelt, felt, and what it did. Then we brain stormed as a class and shared our ideas. My idea was it smelt like shampoo and I loved the smell! 

Autumn Poem

In writing we have been learning about adjectives.

First I did a brainstorm with my class.  We used our 5 senses, sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell.  Then I wrote a poem about Autumn and what I was looking forward to. I used pictures to describe some of the words.
