This week in my home room we made Japanese Art . First we had to dye some white paper blue to make it look like a sky back ground . Then we put a blob of black watery pain on the blue paper . We got a straw and blew on the black paint to spread it out to look like branches of a tree . Next we dabbed pink spots on the branches with a cotton bud to look like blossom on a tree . When it was dry Mr Goodin put it on some black paper and wrote our name in Japanese writing on the side . I enjoyed dying the paper blue like the sky . It was hard blowing through the straw to spread out the black paint . Mrs C helped me . I hope you like my Japanese Art .
This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note… some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

I like your art because you made it look like a tree. It reminds me of blossoms on the trees in spring. I think the black parts could be a bit darker so it stands out more. What does the writing on the side say?
